I’m Jakub, a Red Seal Metal Fabricator with over 20 years in the trades. Originally from Czechia, I now call Red Deer home.
I founded Aurum Home Projects to deliver honest, high-quality handyman work across Red Deer and Central Alberta — from reliable repairs and smart home improvements to careful installations like wood stoves and decks.

Leaky faucets, sticky doors, drywall patches, painting, and all those little (and not-so-little) fixes around the house. I handle everyday problems and small upgrades with real care and attention to detail — done right the first time so you don’t have to worry about it again.
Safe installation of washers, dryers, fridges, stoves, dishwashers — you name it. I also handle delivery and haul away the old units. Everything is done carefully with no damage to your floors or walls.
Deck repairs, full new decks, fence fixes, and complete fence builds. I build them solid with good materials and proper techniques so your outdoor space stays strong, safe, and looking great for years to come.
Garden beds, retaining walls, basic landscaping, and yard cleanups. I help turn messy or unfinished outdoor areas into usable, good-looking spaces that you actually enjoy spending time in.
Kitchen and bathroom cabinet installation, refacing, plus putting together furniture and shelving. Everything gets leveled, secured, and finished clean — no wobbly shelves or crooked doors in my work.
Steel repairs, custom brackets, handrails, gates, and other metalwork. With my Red Seal fabrication background and blacksmithing experience, I build or fix metal pieces that are strong, precise, and made to last — whether it’s functional or a bit artistic.
